my cell phone died a couple weeks ago because its a retardo but all is good in the world of keenan as i have recently received a airsoft sniper rifle. so i took that fool outside and put it down.

in layout class i started "doodling" and got into an excessive compulsive state of mind and drew these in my sketchbook. my friends think I'm crazy... my teacher says I'm a freak.

well the dvd is coming around the bend

i think jake and i have decided on a final cover layout.

im finishing up some special features and menus.

i predict it to be finished by the end of next week.

today i got a letter from the media arts awards concerning my entry of "you are now here"

they said dear keenan blah blah blah thank you for participating in the yadda yadda yadda, we've recieved almost 400 entries yakity yak, over 50 faculty and 50 industry pros participate in the selection process.........

we are pleased to announce that you have been selected to recieve an award as either winner or merit award recipient!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

at this point i started doing a jig around the house.

the awards are thursday the 22nd at mission college and north orange county college. aparently i get a certificate and the film gets placed on a dvd for demonstations and marketing. this is really significant because that means my name will get out there (where ever "there" is), and i'll have something to put into a portfolio.

that's what exites me the most is the exposure, and the experience. really i'm quite happy to be finally done with this project i really learned alot and hope to use what i learned in working on future projects.

higher ground?

almost 2 weeks ago i ordered a sony hvr-a1u from this place royal camera. let me tell you know they are a royal pain in the ass. just completely rude and not very responsive. but they are wholesale and you'll get cheap products. only problem is you have to put up with the people. think of it this way they are selling you stuff for amazing prices and they expect you to lick their ass for it. and if you're getting something for that price you shouldnt be difficult because they don't care about you, and you can kiss their asses and buy the it for the regular price from a store.

its standard DV and HDV and has one badass lense. and just look at that shotgun mic, very phalic. i've been playing around with it.
